Vegas Holiday - Food (Part 2)

Here are all the food that I saw but was not able to eat.  It was good though just looking at it.  Another time perhaps!

The Cake Boss at the Venetian was really popular and the queue was very long.

Vegas Holiday - Food (Part 1)

This time, I decide not to give a day by day account of my Vegas trip.  It's really too hard to try to recall what I have done for the day.

My favorite has to be the food in Vegas.  I wish I had the stomach to try everything.  Also the food is not cheap in a restaurant once you add in the tips.

In no order of dates not ranking here are a summary of foods that I have eaten in Vegas:

La Cave at Wynn Hotel

American Wagyu Skirt (part of it could not be bite throught)

Plenty of Meat

Chocolate mousse (nicer than it taste, it was too hard but rich)

Buffet Lunch at Bellagio, which I thought was over-rated and the place is not as nice as I have envisaged it to be.  Now I know the nicer place is the Buffet at Wynn.  As this is my last trip, I will not be able to try the buffet at Wynn.

By the way, the prawn was pretty taste less, otherwise all was good

The Roast Beef was really good, nice and tender

Was too full and not able to eat dessert

Buffet Breakfast at Chin Chin (New York New York Hotel)

It was a really superb breakfast well presented and the quality was there.  I was very happy that I wrote a really nice write up at Trip Advisor.  It was such a nice lunch, that I may consider serving an early Christmas breakfast buffet in church before the first service.  Breakfast starting at 7:45 am.

Snow Crab Leg

Dropped by Fisherman's International Market after shopping since I had some time before bus 90 came along.  Oh lucky me or unlucky me, snow crab claws and legs were on sale for $2.99/lb.  I checked out the tank, it was pretty empty so I decided to go for the cooked claws and legs before.  The guy ahead of me bought 4 kg and I took the remaining which was 4.5 kg ($13.50).

It was a heap (really) and I separated the different part and eventually worked on it the next day.  I was not an easy task to deshell the crab and to get to those yummy meat.  So far, it's crab salad, crab oats and crab n chicken macaroni.  What else, crab pasta, crab burger, crab cake (that's a must), crab cheese on toast.

I will definitely have more crab before I go home.
