Peggys Cove is a short drive 45 mins from Halifax. It's a small rural fishing community (yes time has pretty much stood still here) with a iconic lighthouse (Peggy's Point Lighthouse). I don't know why but I really like lighthouses. The saying here is that you have never been to Halifax if you never visited Peggys Cove.
