Halifax Seaport Market

Weather forecast did say it was a sunny day but of course they were wrong.  It was drizzling when I got out but no weather was going to dampen my day out to the farmers market.  It was my second time there, first time was on a Sunday and not all stalls were opened.  Today was a Saturday and it was a busy market.  The best buy is definitely the fruits and vegetables.  Cheap and good.

Here are some pictures of a busy market and my loot from the market.

Kale, at $3.50 a bunch

Romaine Lettuce at $2.50 a bunch

Very good chicken pie but at $7 a piece, okay it was still worth it

Basil is so aromatic

My Favorite, Pork Sausages
