Autumn is in the Air / Dollarama

My favorite season has to be Autumn.  Autumn officially starts on 23rd Sept.  Nothing to do with the fact that my birthday falls on Sept, I think Sept is the best month of the entire year.  The weather is cool both in the northern and southern hemisphere.  I love wearing sweater in autumn and to have the cool breezy air blowing on the face.  Oh yes, the leaves, it's so beautiful.  The leaves in Halifax hasn't quite turn color yet but temperature has definitely drop.

The shops have turned autumn too, decked with orangy red leaves and pumpkins.  My favorite shop has to be Dollarama.  Check out the photo on autumn and Halloween buys!

My favorite buy has to be kitchen items and everything else that's cheap.  I am a cheapo...hahaha.  Most items are good except for cleaning detergent, it's like being diluted down.  Anyways no items are more than $3 and it has a good selection of kitchen gadget from Betty Crooker and party goods are very decent too (not that I will be having any party).  Dollarama is everywhere but some stores are messier than others.  I prefer a neater store.

Iceland Airbnb Stay

Iceland probably has the most Airbnb rental given the many tourists.  While there are lots of choices, it was also very hard to pick the right one.   My two experiences were good, each has their pros and cons.  More important the hosts are lovely people who pretty much leave you to your self and they try to give you as much space as possible.

Here in are some pictures.

Iceland Eats

Food is expensive in Iceland.  Nevertheless it was a good experience eating out.  My favorite place must be Dunkin Donut, reasonable price and great donuts too.  Not to mention wifi that works.

Here in are some food pictures.

Iceland Day 6-9 Reyklavik

Reykjavik is the capital and largest city of Iceland with 200k out of the total 330k population staying in this city.  It is the center of culture and life of the Icelandic people and is also the center of tourism in Iceland.  The city offers a large variety of shopping, restaurants, café and bars.  There are also plenty of museums and art galleries to check out on rainy days.

Must see in Reykjavik includes the water front all the way to the Old Harbour.  The pond and its surrounding.  The majestic Luther Church, Hallgrimskirja.  The downtown shopping street of Laugavegur and Skólavörðustígur. The beautiful Harpa City Hall.
