Sydney, Cape Breton

Arrived in Spanish Bay and Suites early in the morning but found the door lock but was able to call to get the front door combination lock.  After a while the front desk gal appeared, I check in but room was not ready.  Decided to get a decent breakfast and had to walk about 1 km to Smitty's Restaurant.  Breakfast is okay and thereafter headed to the visitor's center.  It turned out that there is no tours except on cruise ship days.  So there is only Sydney to see.  It didn't take me long to figure out there is nothing much to see in Sydney so I decided to cut short my stay by one day. 

Rain came that evening and more rain the next day. Couldn't do much till late in the afternoon and decided to take a walk in Hearth Open Park.  It was a very huge park.


The next day, the van back to Halifax came at 7 am.  Arrival home at 1:30 pm.  It's really good to be back HOME.
