Cape Breton Hiking Day 4

Finally, it's the last day of the trip.  In a way, I am glad to be going home for a good shower and sleeping in my own bed.  Not just yet, there were still lots to do.  I was up real early to cook breakfast.  This morning it was omelet with all the leftovers and cubed potatoes.  After cubing all the potatoes, I drizzled butter over it and put it in the oven.  No need to stand over the stove to fry and flip the potatoes.  Omelet was delicious as it had very thing in it.

After a healthy breakfast, we headed out and it was a series of stops for more pic taking.  My kind of tour, getting in and out to take pics.  Our last hike, Red River Hike. As usual, I hike till the start of the rope.  It was a very nice and picturesque hike and there was mobile data available so I was doing what's app, taking pic and hiking all at the same time.

Finally we got to eat out and the group decided on Bell Buoy.  The chowder was good by the sandwich was more than ordinary.  They can do better than serving lobster meat on ordinary white bread especially for $18.  Definitely not going back again. Dessert is good though.

After a walk around Beddeck, it was a pleasant drive back to Halifax and we parted with fond memories of the trip.  I really enjoyed all the hikes and if I have to do it again, I will.  So Cape Breton / Cape Trail I will definitely be seeing you again next year.  Hope to see you in summer of 2016.
